Soccer News

Following months of work plus a substantial financial investment the soccer field is at last starting to look like a soccer field should.
Cape United Football Club will be using our club as their home base and in conjunction with the ICCT, will be responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of the field. Our aim is to bring football back to the club as a major sport, which in turn will bring the youth, parents and friends, who will also support our restaurant and other facilities.

Covid 19 has set us back tremendously with regards to 11 A-side soccer, however we hope that by the end of July, the ground will be passed playable by Cape Town Tygerberg Football Association, which will mean that Cape United Football Club will at long last be able to play some home fixtures this season in the 2nd Division where they have already made a very promising start.

Several Milnerton High School pupils have also joined and are progressing well in our reserve team, but leagues have again been halted with the emergence of the latest Covid 19 3rd wave.

Next season will see the emergence of several more teams and new players are most to join the club.
